renmods variables

ENMODS contains many variables and parameters. They have a reference list for these variables online: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/environment/research-monitoring-reporting/monitoring/environmental-monitoring-data-system#resources

renmods adds a couple of extra variables created from the data.

  • filename - This is the original file name and location of the downloaded data
  • ren_date - This is the local Date drawn from the Observed_Date_Time column
  • tz - This is the original timezone of the data, retrieved from Observed_Date_Time before it was converted to UTC-7:00.
