Tenant approval workflow
Tenants can be created through a request and approval process.
Tenant requests are for IDIR users only.
An IDIR user submits a tenant request. A CSTAR operations admin reviews the request and either approves or rejects it.
Requesting a tenant
A tenant request includes the tenant name, ministry or organization information, and the IDIR user requesting the tenant.
The requester becomes part of the tenant if the request is approved.
Reviewing a tenant request
Tenant requests are reviewed by CSTAR operations admins.
An operations admin can approve a request, reject it, or provide a reason when the request is not approved.
Approved requests
When a tenant request is approved, CSTAR creates the tenant.
The requester is added as a tenant user and receives the initial tenant roles needed to manage access for that tenant.
Rejected requests
When a tenant request is rejected, CSTAR keeps the request record and stores the decision.
The tenant is not created.
